I am a PhD candidate in the Department of Consumer Science at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. My doctoral thesis investigates the relationship between mothers’ economic wellbeing, labor force participation, and union dissolutions with a special focus on post-separation living arrangements, in Wisconsin and the United States.
I am affiliated with the Institute for Research on Poverty as a research assistant and Graduate Research Fellow, and the Center for Demography and Ecology as a doctoral trainee. I hold an MS and BS in Economics from Kolkata, India.
I will be joining the Institute for Research on Poverty as a post doctoral researcher in May 2023.
